THE BLAME GAME
Man by nature is expected to be flawless, devoid of sins and mistakes at least by the biblical account of creation. So it is natural for him not to accept his fault as fault. In fact, by the biblical account of the fall of man, the natural thing was for him to blame someone else for his mistakes and woes. It is therefore not surprising that till date, man has always find it easier to blame others for his misdeeds and errors. Indeed, man greatest power and privilege has become his undoings. The power to make choice arguably is the greatest power of mankind, but he is equally, his greatest undoings. What an irony! Every day and seconds, we are faced with the need to choose among alternatives. Some under pressure, some others, in our comfort moments, yet we stand at the risk of bearing the brunt. The usual tendency is when our decisions turn out right, we are eager to acclaim the glory to ourselves, when otherwise, we blame others for our failures and mistakes. It is the natural thing ...
