2019 - A YEAR OF DECISION

Dear friends, I'm happy you made it to 2019. It is a rare privilege, and I do hope you won't take it for granted. Many people wished and prayed to see this day, but were not able to see it.

It therefore becomes important that we make the year counts. The law of motion says: everything remains in a state of rest until it is moved.

What this means is that everything we wish or have prayed for this year will require our inputs.

In simple term, do you want more money, and you are in paid employment. You may need to ask for a raise in your place of work, and if your employer won't do that despite being convinced you are giving your best, don't hesitate to change your job. Alternatively, you may need to do side hustle if your job permits. Better still, you may quit to start your business.

Are you in a toxic relationship or you don't even have a reliable partner, yet you would like to marry this year, encourage your partner to change, and if he or she won't change, why not look for another person. There are one thousand and one good guys and ladies out there looking for good partners.

If there is anything the past years and especially 2018 has taught me is to avoid being sentimental in decision making. The truth is majority of people we want to please, don't care about us. They live to service their own self-interest. So why not try to be good to yourself.

And even the greatest Master enjoins us to only love our neighbors as ourselves and not the other way round.

If you like to look more appealing, don't fold your hands, do something about it. Exercise your body if need be. Eat good food according to your capacity.

Will you like to add to your knowledge, go for it. Register for that exam. Put in for that course.

Will you like to be more connected, make concrete effort to socialize and relate with like minds. Attend conferences, seminars and ceremonies to hook up with new minds and faces.

Are you tired of the crop of leaders you have at various levels, make your contribution to eject or retain them by voting for or against them.

Be decisive in 2019 and the world will make a way for you. Happy New year guys.
