YOU ARE NOT AN ISLAND

In my days back in school, one of my favourite quotes was that of Aristotle which says: man is a political animal; but through reading and personal discovery I have since discovered that man is more of a social animal than a political animal who needs to co-exist and interact with others towards the attainment of his full potentials.

Indeed, we cannot live in isolation, as without people we are nothing but  beasts. This realization should no doubt help us to understand the pivotal roles that people play in our lives. Thus from critics to friends, we need all to become the best we can. This is because inherently in all our actions and in-actions, there are far-reaching consequences that not only affect us but also others.

What this means is that whether we decide to be good or otherwise, there are people who are affected by it. If we put this in mind, we will be mindful of what we do or fail to do. Therefore there is a great call on all of us to be better man and woman if we hope to make the world a better place for ourselves and others.

It may sound picky but sometimes a fool has a message for the wise if only humility will allow him to learn, don't yourself around, learn from others.

As a people and as a nation, we must therefore put in our best at all times knowing fully well that someone somewhere now or latter will be affected by what we do or fail to do. If we will all do this, we can but have paradise in this world.

And you know what, you don't have to wait for a perfect time, the best time to live with others in mind is today.

Have a lovely weekend great pals!
