LIFE VOYAGE IS ROOTED IN BILLOWS

Life is a voyage which all men undertake, for we are mere mortal with divine mandate. In our sojourn, we are bound to face countless hills and mountains. Some we easily succumbed, others maybe so overwhelming that we have to meander around them, yet in all we must never succumb to the dictates of fate. But here lies the paradox between fate and destiny.

In essence, what is fate, what is destiny? Should we say fate is the sum total of fortunes and misfortunes that befalls on our part to destiny- the eternal (most times unknown) glorious end that await us and that we all aspire to be in the nearest future? Or is our fate our destiny? In that case, everything that happens to us is our fate and is our destiny.

Maybe or maybe not, one thing is however clear like Job said: a man cannot enjoy all the goods in life without a taste of a sour moment. Suffice to say, permanent happiness or sadness is a myriad. In all our days, we are bound to make choices that will latter define us now and latter, and sometimes, some percolates to generation to come.

Knowing this, I believed should inform our decision to live our lives in sobriety for one day, there will always be a day of reckoning. Whatever we do, and wherever we find ourselves, we must know it is only a temporal abode, as we are all in a state of motion  moving from womb to tomb.

Tempus fudits, but life assignment if well done could engrave our names in the heart of men born and unborn. It all depends on the due diligence we apply to it.

Dear friends, if we fail in the days of adversity, then our strength is small. We must therefore  hope against hope, hold on to the rope of destiny, even when we feel like letting go. This is because we have got to prove to the doubting Thomases of what we are capable of doing.

Indeed, we cannot afford to falter now when we have lofty promises await us in the future. Yes, the present may not look like it, in fact, it may not be salubrious but with faith in ourselves and our God, we can be whom we are destined to be.

Let me however says this, part of what we have to do may entail channeling a new course, such as quitting a relationship, changing a career, building a new network of friends, establishing new businesses, and making and implementing new plans. In all, we must forge ahead without standing akimbo knowing fully well that our best is yet to come.

We just have to try more and pray more and God willing, we will get to the Promised Land sooner than expected. Have a great week!
