Finding Purpose

Almost everyone knows he or she is born into this world for a purpose, but finding such purpose has been an herculean task for generation after generation.

So it is not surprising that in our search for meaningful life and place in life, we run from pillar to post, to find the #callings for which we are called for, but i tell you friends for free today that our purpose in life more often than not is woven around personal and societal problems.

Thus it is by solving human problems, at personal and communal level that we find meaning to our lives. In essence, every problem we face at individual or group level is a potential opportunities for discovering our purposes in life.

Moses was called to be a deliverer because he was meant to deliver his people from slavery and captivity. Jesus, our Lord is regarded as a Saviour of mankind because He was called to save humanity from sins and all his pernicious effects. Esther did not discover purpose until she was called by her uncle to rescue her people from evil decimation intended against them by Harman in the Holy Scripture.

Martin Luther king Jr was a freedom fighter because he fought for freedom against race discrimination in USA, so is our own Nelson Mandela in South Africa.

Mark Zucaberg, the inventor of Facebook wanted to connect more with his friends, so he founded Facebook. How about the Wright brothers, they wanted men to fly like birds in the air, so they invented aeroplane.

You too is not an exception, you cannot find purpose until you solve human problem(s).

Unfortunately however, our cultures have conditioned us to avoid problems, little wonder, we tend to lie low when what we need is to be 'troubleshooting' to find expression to our lives.

My prayer for you today and this week is that you will find problem(s) that will be sufficient enough to launch you into your purpose.

Have a great week, while you search for meaning to #Standout in the journey of lives.
