OUR GROWING INSENSITIVITY AND RELIGION INTOLERANCE - MAKING CASE FOR APOSTLE SULEIMAN
OUR GROWING INSENSITIVITY AND RELIGION INTOLERANCE - MAKING CASE FOR APOSTLE SULEIMAN
Some days ago, it was Apostle Suleiman, it may be someone else's tomorrow but our prejudice won't allow us to see it in this light. We make light of everything and make mockery of every situation we should wholeheartedly condemned because we are not affected directly.
An authority figure (whose memory I can't recall now) said 'the death of every man diminishes me because I'm part of humanity', but in these days and age, we don't see it like that. We hardly see how interwoven and interconnected we are.
While it may even be understandable for non-christians to make a jest of men of God, but for professed christians to take upon themselves the role of the Chief judge to determine who belongs to God and who doesn't when the Holy Scripture enjoined us not to judge, for with the same measurements we judge, the same way we shall be judge.
For instance, in the parable of wheats and the tares, our Lord Jesus Christ admonished us that the wheats and the tares must be left alone to grow together lest while trying to separate them, we uproot the wheats with the tares. As christians, by the time we rubbish all men of God and make mockery of our religion, we indirectly destroying our faith which we're enjoined to EARNESTLY CONTEND FOR (THE FAITH), which was delivered unto the saints before us.
By the way, who appointed us judges? Who made us overnight scribes and pharisees that see the wrong in others but never in themselves? Who turned us to the accusers of the brethren who are eager to stone 'the perceived adulterous among us' because we seem to be living a holier than thou lives? Who?
Whether by Divine bulletproof or industrial bulletproof, a man's life with his family were saved from his assailants, rather than give God the glory for not allowing a shepherd of the Gospel life and loved one's lives being cut short, we turned their safety to bear parlour issue making profane remarks. Jesus said whatsoever you do to these little ones (talking about little children), you do unto me. How can't we infer that whatsoever we do to any man of God, we do to God because he is representing God and not himself?
God cannot be mocked, whatsoever a man does he shall reap; till then, we must however remember the words of Paul the Apostle who said "Paul sows, Apollo waters, the increase is of the Lord". Thus, it is not for us to determine who is serving God or not. If Jesus was accused by the men of His time to be casting out demons in Bezzebul name, how we the men of perdition of this era not slander men of God who is depopulating the kingdom of Satan? The things of the Spirit cannot be deciphered with the natural eyes, as only the DEEP CAN CALL THE DEEP.
Thus if God has not told you that a man of God or any christian for that matter is not my child, you lack moral authority to cast aspersion or belittle such a person. This is my view. This is what I believe should be everyone view too. Be that as it may, we all have choices to make, so your view can be different from mine. QED!
Finally, I earnestly prayed that God will console all that mourns at this time, especially the family of those who lost their lives to these ignoble act.
